According to a Merrill Lynch report, the number of malls in Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad and Pune is expected to grow to 250 by 2010 as against the current 40. Meanwhile, Bangalore is about to get an exclusive furniture mall. Gurgaon is also set to host the biggest mall of the world known as the Mall of India.
