Rape at 12

She was 12 years old when she got rape. Her name was Angie she was a well mannered innocent girl who care about everyone and everyone cared about her.

It was the day when she was coming home from school, her parents said no to her but she wouldn’t listen. ‘No dad I want to walk today I’m a big girl now’ she told her dad. After asking her dad couple of times he finally agrees to say yes. ‘Just be careful’ he added.

Angie was really happy that day. Since she was working on a project afters school it was already late so she did what she always wanted to, she started to walk home but she didn’t know there was a stranger following her. When she opens her eyes she was in the hospital. She was scare, scare from everyone who looked at her scare to think about what happen to her; she was only 11 she couldn’t figure out what was going on, what she should do. Year pass she was 16 now and of course she wasn’t same anymore, her pain heal by time but it was still there. She never liked any guy or even looked at them, she thought of them as user and she wanted to stay away from them as much as she can until one day, when she saw Ryan…… He seem different, maybe he is different she thought and decided to talk to him. They talk and it turn out they had lot in common and finally after 1 month Ryan asked Angie out, she said yes to him not sure if it was right but she like him and so she figure she can try it. As time went by she started to fall in love with him but she wasn’t sure if he felt the same way to one day she asked

‘Do you love me’ she said looking into his eyes and holding his hands

‘….um yap... sure’ When he said that it seem like he was just saying it and didn’t mean it

‘I’m serious do u or do u not?’

‘Angie… I don’t know like don’t you think love is a strong word to describe feelings’ Ryan said. When she heard this, she ran outside and sits on the sidewalk and cries herself out. She hated the fact that now she love a guy who didn’t love her. ‘My life sucks’ she cried out loud not knowing that there was someone behind her.

‘Are you okay’ he ask

‘….Yes…. I’m sorry I’m fine’ She finally manages to say after wiping her tears. He sat down beside her and they started to talk. After a while of talking he asks her if they can meet again, she said yes and there second meeting went well. After hanging around with him more and more she started to have feelings for him but of course she wasn’t sure how he felt, so she didn’t say anything.

Time pass really fast, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months finally after 8 months, he said to her what she always wanted to hear, he said he love her. But she didn’t answer him she didn’t say anything she just walks away. Angie wasn’t sure how he will take the rape news and she wanted to tell him before they start dating she didn’t wanted anything to come between them after they were together.

‘I have to tell you something is really important’ Angie said looking at the ground

‘What is it?’ He asked with concern eyes, he was the nicest person she knew

‘I want you to know about my past, I got rape when I was 12……’ She started to tell him the whole story, He listen really carefully he didn’t say a word in between after she was done all he said was,

‘Will you go out with me?’ When Angie heard this she wasn’t sure how to react

He cut her off before she could finish the sentence and said ‘No it was all in past, I care about the future not the past’ and he hug her really tightly. She said yes to him and they started going out and loving each other more each day.
