Randomness Personified!!

There are these days when your brain feels so full, so numbed and point-blank beer'd out! You really want to get out of the haze, so you try to work. Instead, you go around socializing in your office. Coffee is water for the day, and hunger is non-existent. Laughter is vague and understanding "kinda, sorta not there". What do you do on such a day? You write for escape hatch and try to get all the readers to understand your depressing plight and give you encouraging and motivating comments. Or you could just close this window, get yourself another coffee and get back to work!!

If you try to get back to work, there are two probabilities to consider. Firstly, you will not be able to perform up to the mark. Secondly, you may not perform at all, and hinder other people's work. So basically you will be wasting precious resources anyways. Then why waste your energy on shutting this window. Why take your hand off the key board, place it on the mouse and click? To get more productive, or just seem like you are productive. Pretense is almost synonymous to dishonesty. So why should you use your precious energy on seeming to do something that you don't agree with doing in the first place?

Even if you manage to convince people that you are actually doing work, what difference will it make? At the end of the day your bosses will know the numbers, your colleagues don't care and your juniors can't afford to care. So, now you think to yourself, "why don't I just continue rambling on? Maybe because I am running out of words and you are running out of time."

So whether I shut this window or not, I think you better get back to work!!
