Races Are A Go At Circuit Gilles Villeneuve

Come August next year, there is sure going to be one very big event that auto lovers, GM performance parts seekers, race fanatics, and simple thrill seekers would not surely want to miss. This one would be part of the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve grand happening. You see, Groupe Motorise International (GMI) and the International Speedway Corporation (ISC) has proudly announced that they would be the ones responsible for organizing, and promoting special events at the mentioned Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

One of the special events that one should look forward to would be the race competition between two racing giants – the NASCAR Busch Series and the Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series. These would be presented by the Crown Royal Special Reserve to those who are interested in viewing such a spectacle.

Martin Spalding is the current general manager of GMI and during the press conference held to inform the public about it, he said, "Our group is pleased to announce that it has concluded a partnership with one of the world’s most successful motorsports entertainment companies, ISC. This venture will enable us to bring to our hometown the NASCAR Busch Series, along with the Grand Am Rolex Series and the cars driven in one the most prestigious races on earth, the Rolex 24 at Daytona. Not only are we fully confident that the numerous fans of NASCAR racing in Quebec and Canada will come witness exciting racing on a legendary course such as Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, we are expecting that a large number of American fans will want to try Montreal and experience its unique way of entertaining visitors."

Unique and entertaining, indeed. Sure enough, this 2007 race weekend where NASCAR Busch Series and Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series would be going on head to head for a great racing battle would surely be one event that thrill seekers are going to enjoy a lot.

You see, this grand event would also be marking the come back of such kind of competition in one of the world’s top racing series, NASCAR, to Canada. It would also be the debut of the Grand Am Rolex Series racing of sports car to the mentioned country.
