Rabies is a viral disease caused by a virus present in the saliva of infected rabid animals and is transmitted to humans or animals by bites or contamination of an open cut.Rabies symptoms: Rabies disease causes acute encephalitis in humans and animals. Rabies can affect cats, dogs, bats and other warm-blooded animals. Animals infected with rabies disease become exceptionally aggressive. Human rabies symptoms include headache, irritability, restlessness, anxiety and fever.
