Quickly Falling: Prologue

This is an intro for a series I'm planning and would like to see the response to this. Feel free to leave any and all comments.
Nicholas wrote in his journal and tried to forget about his mistakes. Maybe if he was lucky the right girl would just show up on his doorstep, although the possibility of that happening in Fayer Maine, was slim to none. The intercom buzzed in his Government class and asked for Nicholas Enger to the Guidance office. His teacher waved his hand as a dismissal while writing the homework assignment.

Jill walked into the hall to take a seat. She was supposed to be waiting for Anna or Nicholas. She wasn't entirely sure since the secretary had been applying nail polish the entire time she'd been in there. A new school in the middle of the semester and her senior year was not how she'd imagined her high school experience. Well, neither had her parent's divorce or moving from California to Maine been in her plans either.

Anna sat up in her bus seat as the coach for Varsity Tennis informed them that Augusta was under 2 feet of unprecedented snow and that they'd be turning around. Great. More time to think. She didn't want to think. It'd been a year and she still wasn't over his death. Well, maybe her iPod could blast away her thoughts. She turned the music up and leaned back in her seat.
Should I continue with the story?
Yes!
No.
Need more details to decide.
Could leave it or take it.
