Queen Of Pain
When love is one sided it can leave a longing to escape.

She knows my name,
I was crushed beneath her weight,
Her hypnotic smile
Left me domicile,
A prisoner to her fate,
Shackled in chains,
She played with my brain,
With no release from her torture,
Her psychotic game
Drove me insane,
A physical wreck of nature.
She stole my soul
And left me the fool,
Who wanders alone in the night,
She left me to drain
The perpetual rain
Of tears that blur my sight,
Cast into the well
Of insanity's veil,
I'm drowning in her shadow,
Lost and alone,
I'm bursting a lung
To break the surface of my sorrow.
Left on my own
With vanity's scorn,
And only my memories for friends,
I'm ruing the day
I met the Queen of Pain,
Who filled my life with pretense,
I live in a dream,
You know what I mean,
A world where nothing seems real?
The emotion of joy
Is never employed,
In a world where pain is the deal.
How I wish I could sleep,
Silent and deep,
Never wake up again to the tears,
To just fade away
Into the grave,
To release me from all of my fears,
Insanity laughs
As the Queen of Pain scoffs,
While I scream my woes at the night,
Lord, bring me relief,
Release me from grief,
Take me on your Heavenly flight.
