Queen Bee Meets Vampire Ch. 1

"Rose, wait up!" called a voice behind me.

"Oh, hey Cassie. Didn’t see you there." I said

"Oh My God. Did you hear about the new students?" she said in her normal chatty way.

"Yeah, so? It’s not that big a deal."

"I saw them in the parking lot. They’re all hot! And judging by their Mercedes, they’re also rich." She said obviously excited about the new arrivals.

About three seconds after Cassie finished her sentence I collided with another girl.

"Hey, watch where you’re going!" I screamed. When I saw the face of the girl, it wasn’t a face I recognized. She must be one of the new kids. Wow, Cassie was right they are hot! I thought.

"Oops sorry, but why don’t you watch where you’re going next time." She said. By that time we’d accumulated an audience.

"Excuse me?" I asked just as appalled as the rest of the crowd.

"Well, I think you heard me." She said in a smart mouth kind of way.

"Look, I’ve ruled this school since second grade and because you’re new here I’ll let you off easy, but remember talk to me like that again and bad things will happen, got that?" I said.

"Oh, what are going to do? Tell on me?" the girl said tauntingly

"Hey Rose, what’s up?" asked my brother Caleb.

"Well, this chick here, decided it would be a great idea to make me angry." I said.

"Oh, honey, that is not a good idea." said my other brother Kyle.

"What is going on here?!" asked Principal Wexler (who was probably standing in the crowd the hole time and knew exactly what was happening.

"Not much, Rose was just showing the new students the ropes." said my other best friend Mackenzie Rosario.

Principal Wexler loves me and my friends. We’ve done things that would’ve gotten any other student expelled and only gotten off with a warning ‘if you ever do anything like this again blah, blah, blah’. That’s one of the reasons why I’m the queen bee. Also because I’m the prettiest girl in school, I’m rich, and I can have absolutely any boy I want.

"Oh, don’t worry Mackenzie." said Principal Wexler. "I was just wondering why these six new students are late for homeroom. That’s not a very good way to start the school year."

When Principal Wexler had asked what was going on, our audience had scattered everyone trying not to get in the middle of this. My friends and I all nodded our heads saying "you’re absolutely right".

I absolutely loved seeing the look on the girls face when she realized how much power we had in this school. Shock soon disappeared from her face being replaced with a look of fury that would’ve scared the wits out of anyone but me.

A hand was placed on the girls shoulder, and for the first time I noticed that there were five other people behind the girl. They were all stunningly beautiful, especially the boy who’d put his hand on the girls shoulder.

"She’s not worth it Hazel." he said in the most angelic voice I’d ever heard.

"Wait, what did you say?" I asked shocked

"I said you’re not worth it." said the boy bluntly

"Just walk away Rose." said Caleb.

"If I were you guys I’d watch my back." I said glaring at each one of them in turn before heading off to homeroom with Cassie, Mackenzie, and my two other friends Evelyn and Virginia.
