Pursuing My Inner Self

I've told my target, "Wait for me,
I am coming soon to meet thee."

I've told my dreams, "I shall pursue you,
My pursuit shall continue till you turn true."

I've told my aims to be high, as low aim is crime,
I've told 'em that their accomplishment is going to take some time.

I've told hope, I will not lose her,
To be full of her, I will always endeavor.

I've told the tolerance in me to grow,
And ordered my perseverance to be on the go.

I've requested my achievements, not to publicize at all,
I've summoned humbleness, as pride has a fall.

My self-respect, I've proudly told,
"Rest assured, you'll never be sold!"
