Purpose of Life

These days’ people live with the idea that life has no purpose, this has led to the tragic ending of many people’s lives, mostly through suicide, but through other things as well. People are being raised to believe that their life on earth is without purpose, children are learning in the schools that life does not have any higher meaning for them." If there is no reason for my being on this earth then why should I even stay here, it would be much easier to end my life and be done with the whole thing." This is tragic because exactly the opposite is true.

One of the problems is evolution, if we are the product of chance then there is nothing to look forward to after life, and not only that, but life on earth is without reason…everything coming from a big accident.

In Psalms 139:13-16 we read that:" even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you. For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."

We see here the fact that we are not the products of evolution, as many believe; we are the creation of a wonderful God that knows everything there is to know about us, we were no cosmic accident.

Something that is going around these days is the fact that people are being taught that God does not exist and that man is inherently good, man has all the goodness in himself that he needs, man is (for lack of better words) god.

All persons running around on this earth actually are a bunch of little gods that rule their own destiny, they make their own life and they make their own luck. There is one major problem with all that the Bible tells us. In Romans 3:23 we read that, "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" it also tells us that there are none righteous no not one. The Bible teaches us that man has a sinful nature, he is born with and everything that we try to do as good works, are nothing more then dirty rags compared to the holiness of God.

So just imagine, you have a bunch of little people running around that have terrible sinful natures, all trying to do good deeds, all trying to be little gods because they were raised with the belief that they are god, and on top of that, they believe that they are nothing more then the product of the blind chance of evolution. And there you have a mix that can be very dangerous.

Every person wants to be happy, people look for happiness in money, fame and some in the doing of good deeds...but the only true happiness to be found is in the Lord, so take the mix that I gave you above and add the fact that they are all looking to be happy in one way or another, but always failing because they don’t have God. The final result of all that, will be a person that is unhappy and failing in the pursuit of happiness, he will have no purpose in life and in the end there are three things that he can do:

One: Suicide

Many people commit suicide, especially teenagers, because they cannot deal with the pressure of being gods that have come into the world as a result of blind chance, they cannot face the fact that they cannot make happy lives for themselves.

Two: Just Live On

They can live out their lives in misery, constantly pretending to be happy but only admitting the truth to themselves, when there’s nobody is around to hear.

Three: Get Christ

This is the option that most people refuse because it seems to be too easy; Christ came and died for every person on this earth, telling humans about a God who really exists and showing that trough His very life, a perfect sinless life full of love and power. He gave all the glory to God, His Father and Jesus promised a fulfilled and eternal life to all those who will accept and serve Him.

Option number three is the only one that will bring true happiness and fulfillment in the life of a person. It is the only way to live your life on this earth and be truly happy and fulfilled. It is the only way that makes sense…yes there’s more to life then eating just to die in the end…
