Puppy Love

Whenever I first looked in to your eyes,
I couldn’t think of any other guys,
You gave me a feeling like never before,
I spent time with you, but I wanted more,

We grew closer and closer every day,
When you asked me out I knew what I’d say,
But you seemed so nervous and acted kind of shy,
I thought it was really cute though I’m not going to lie,

After I said yes you gave me a sweet smile,
Time went by and every second was worthwhile,
I felt your arms go around me and pull me tight,
Everything seemed like it was going at the speed of light,

You held me closer and it all slowed down,
Your eyes were watery, but with no trace of a frown,
My eyes closed when you whispered in my ear,
"I Love You Baby", then I felt a tear.
