You have finally been able to bring home your new Pug and you feel that you started out on the right track and you may very well be correct. You bought everything you needed such as food, a collar, a leash, a bed, potty training pads and a few toys along with everything else one would need for a dog. It cannot be stressed enough the importance of Pug training because you simply cannot let a dog think or feel that he or she runs the house in any way. By letting a dog feel that they are the master over the house and over you, you may be in for a rude awakening someday when your dog turns on you to bite you. And it will not be the fault of the dog because you allowed them to think they were in control over you instead of it being the other way around.

Most people seem to believe that you must hit or spank a dog in order to correct Pug problem behaviors and to get your point across but that is simply not the case. It is always wrong to hit an animal no matter what is taking place. And while it may seem a little too simple to just say no, it is effective as it is all about how you are saying something instead of what you are saying.

Your pet wants to please you and strives to make sure that you are happy so when your voice indicates that you are unpleased, he or she will get the point. Try to never let Pug problem behaviors go because they will grow into something that will get completely out of control and possibly too big for you to handle.
