Psychotherapists

Psychotherapists, unlike psychologists or psychiatrists, are therapists who deal with a certain mental condition, usually without prescribing medications. They may or may not have any professional qualifications and can practice after they have attained many years of experience with therapies such as talking therapies, cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, experimental constructivist therapy, psychodynamic therapy and hypno-psychotherapy. These therapists deal with depressed patients more often. Different countries have different criteria for professionals to be able to practice as psychotherapists.
