Prove Me Wrong - Chapter 1

Again, I will be taking a small break from Love, does it exist? But don't worry, I will still continue it...maybe not as quickly as this one. Wish me luck.
The boy brushed his lips softly against the girl's and pressed onto hers. Then he pressed harder and rougher. When they were done kissing, he back away from the girl, before smirking. "You know, you are the most lovely person I have ever met, but you can be a real bitch sometimes." He admitted. "Well, I'm sorry to break it to you, but I'm breaking up with you." Stated the boy. It wasn't true though, he wasn't sorry for breaking up, in fact he couldn't care less about her feelings. Yup, he was just the typical playboy. Then he took the present the girl gave to him and dropped it purposefully. It was a crystal globe and when it fell down, it shattered in thousands of pieces.

He loved to play around with any girl's heart, but now quite a few girls know about him and are avoiding him. Yet there are some sluts and hot chicks that still are attracted to him. "UH! You JERK!" Screamed out the girl. "I shouldn't have ignored my friends when they told me what you were like." She said. "I thought if I could just look deeper into you, you would be different." She huffed. "But no...you are just another stupid jerk." The girl said as hot tears started to trickle down her face. "Pft, well it's you loss loser." He said calmly as he started to walk away. But then he stopped and turned around again. "If you thought I really loved you, then you are out of your dreams. You're just another one of those loser girls. You're not even that pretty." He added as he walked away for good. The girl collapsed to the ground crying.

Nick laughed softly at what he had done this time. Even his friends thought it was pretty cruel, but he couldn't care less. He had pretty much everything he wanted since his family was rich and since he was an only child. So his parents spoiled him dearly. He has his own dorm on campus, while most had to share with each other. His parents however are pretty much always busy and away on business trips so he doesn't see them much and sometimes gets lonely. But barely, because he has half the campus of girls he is dating to care.

Jade's P.O.V

The car I was in stopped in front of a huge building, a boarding school. My friend, Eva has been excited for me to come here, but I have been nervous. From what I heard there had been a few bad things happening and how they pretty much label you into a group. Yeah I know, some boarding school this is eh? But it was pretty normal for that to happen. I knew I shouldn't be worried though. I wasn't your typical everyday student who strives to be the same. In fact I strive to be as different as possible. It made me feel good that way, although sometimes it makes me feel left out. I couldn't care less what one says about me and truthfully, I never dated anyone unless I liked the 100 percent. It's not like I wasn't asked out before, it's more like I rejected them because I had no feelings for them or they were pretty much the known jerks. I couldn't stand people who are jerks and who are mean to my friends. There was a time when I once cared about my looks and what group I belong in, but those days are pretty much over...or so I thought.

Before I got out of the car, my mom gave me a quick hug and a kiss. "Bye...I'll see you in March." She said. "Yeah, bye." I mumbled as I got out. I never really wanted to go to boarding school, especially since most of my friends were in a regular school. I wasn't going to see any of them until March...I thought long and hard as I made my way to the truck of the car. Then I took my things I brought and headed towards the building. I needed to get a dorm number from the office and anything else that I need, but half way there, I spotted a girl across the building, on a field crying. Something in me tugged to go help her and ask her what happened. I sighed softly before walking to that direction. It was slightly annoying because I had a lot of stuff to hold on to and drag along with me. As I got closer, I noticed pieces of glass everywhere. I frowned slightly before walking up to the girl.

Then I crouched down to her level before speaking. "Umm...are you okay?" I asked softly. "LEAVE ME ALONE!" She screamed out as her head turned up to look at me. Her eyes red from crying and it looked like she could barely cry anymore.
"Okay, sorry." I mumbled before standing back up again. As I turned to leave, the girl spoke again. "I'm...sorry...it's just that something happened to me and I don't really want anyone here right now." She said as she wiped her tears on her sleeve. "Oh, umm I see you are new here..." She added as she looked up and down at me. I nodded. "Yeah, and I need to get going to the office." I added. "Okay, but let me help you." She said before standing up. "Oh, by the way, the name's Katelyn." She added with a smile.
"My name is Jade." I replied back. It was weird because the girl seemed to have recovered from crying, but I was glad she had. She took one of my luggage and a small box. "Thank you." I said before we headed for the office building.
