Hamilton High was crowded with people. There were teens everywhere hugging their friends, even parents hugging their children because they were new to this school. All of a sudden, one by one, the whole area went soundless. Everyone's gaze was fixed towards the front of the school. Mr. Donavan, the head teacher was standing on the staircase in front of the school and started to speak...
"Welcome back to Hamilton High, I hope everyone had a good holiday. I just wanted to remind anyone over year seven can take their timetables from their tutors and carry on with the day as normal. Thank you." He walked down the staircase and made his way to little year sevens.
"Come on, I'm so excited to see if new people joined our class." Said Emily happily. She dragged both Evelyn and Carter to their tutor room. There was a long line, filled with a variety of people outside their room.
"Oh hey Evelyn and Emily!" Said Sophia running up to them, followed by Leila, Pamela and Nadia. Sophia was a cute redhead. She was unique because she made her own clothes. At the moment she was wearing a colourful (we spell colorful like that) dress with different patterns on it with some funky shoes.
"Oh my god! I missed you guys so much!" She screeched. She reached over for a double hug.
"I know right! It's weird being back though," replied Evelyn. As soon as she said that, their tutor teacher Mr. Brian opened the door and everyone rushed in including them. Everyone quickly sat down next to their friends.
"Come on, where are the new people?" Whispered Emily.
"I don't know but..." Her sentence couldn't be finished because her eyes were set upon a boy who had just walked into their class. At that moment all the girls started to whisper and giggle.
"And you are?" Asked Mr. Brian.
"I'm Adrian Erebos." He said in a low but attractive voice. He was wearing a black leather jacket and his hair was dark and silky. His head then slightly turned towards her. All of a sudden she started to feel like jelly. His warm green eyes were upon her.
"Hot ain't he?" Whispered Emily.
"Ok, take a seat. So as I was explaining..." Mr. Brian continued but all she could think about was him, Adrian. What a peculiar name? She turned around to take a look at him; he was in a deep conversation with Erica Johnson. The popular school girl, obviously he'd fall for her with her lush blonde hair and her model figure. Her thoughts were interrupted by Emily nudging her on her arm.
"Come on, bell rang!"
"Okay guys. Good luck and have a great day!" Said Mr. Brian. She got up and went over to Emily who was waiting for her at the door. She took her timetable out and looked at the first lesson. Chemistry. She hated chemistry after the fight she had with Caroline last year. 'But thank god she left out of school. Apparently her dad got a better job in Arizona, so she's far away from me. She thought happily.
"Oh no! Chemistry. I hope we don't get a stupid seating plan." Emily said as we were walking to our class. This year their teacher was Scary Jackson. Everyone called him that because there was a rumor that he murdered a kid.
"Shoot, he's defo gonna give us a seating plan." She whispered to her.
"I know, lets quickly take the best seats just in case he changes his mind." She replied. They quickly ran to the second to last row and sat down. Everyone started to come in including Adrian with Erica. Adrian walked past them and Emily being her cheeky self, whistled.
He stopped for a moment and looked at her and tried to stop a smile. Then he carried on walking again, and sat down on the last row next to boy called Scott. He was skinny, blond-haired and geeky; which was probably why he chose to sat there. Suddenly, Erica flicking her hair walked to them smiling. Her smile was filled with pureness, but they both knew it was fake.
"Hey besties!" She said smiling, and quickly taking a glance at Adrian. Apparently he wasn't looking as she moved closer to Emily and whispered 'Don't even think about taking him, he's interested in me." She laughed sweetly, back to her fake act and walked off.
"She is such a..." She was cut off by Mr. Jackson.
"I can see everyone had already chosen there seats. As it was the first day back I'll let you off. But any messing around and seats will be changed immediately." He said seriously and walked over to the board to write the date and start the lesson.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ring! Ring!
Bell rang. Today for some reason chemistry went fast. She also had a feeling for tomorrow the seating plan would change as everyone was taking advantage of Mr. Jackson's niceness. She suddenly remembered that behind her sat, Adrian.
His mysteriousness made her even more curious about him. 'Something about him just puts me off'. She thought.
"Hun, I have Media now and you have Textiles. I'm gone." Emily said as she pounced of to her class. She made her way to her Textiles and was surprised to find that Erica was there even though she was girly.
"Hey Evelyn! Now we can get to know each other more." she said, laughing with two girls behind her. To her they looked familiar. She suddenly remembered, they were Isabel and Randy.
They were totally unrecognizable; they were like another version of Erica. They changed their hair color and got a nose job. She was looking all over the classroom to find someone to sit next to. She didn't want to be lonely with Erica and her followers in this class. She was suddenly lucky as she realized one of her old friends Jane was in her class. Her red messy hair was in a cute bun as she gestured her hands for her to sit next to her.
"Evee!" She said joyfuly.
"Hey Jane. Long time no see." Evelyn said and hugged her gratefully for saving her.
"I know. Can you believe we used to be besties? But then that changed after Emily came." She said awkwardly returning the hug.
Three years ago Jane and Evelyn use to best friends, nothing could break them apart. But then all of a sudden they changed class which separated them and Evelyn met Emily and then they became close. Thankfully, Jane didn't mind, she said she'd made friends of her own. They told each other though they'd stay in contact, which didn't really work out because Evelyn always was busy. It was either homework or Emily.
"Okay class. We are gonna move straight away onto the practical. We're going to be starting off with funky cases for your phones!" Shelly said cheerfully.
Chapter 3
Guys! Here's Chapter 3. Enjoy. :)
"Yeah, I know rig...." Jane was saying before getting interrupted by Emily.
"Evee," she said as she dragged her away from Jane.
"Ohmygosh, GuessWaah?!" She screeched in her face. But all she was thinking about was how sad Jane looked as soon as Emily came. Was she jealous? Was she faking all this time being happy?
"Em, I think you made Jane upset..." She said weirdly, as she didn't know if she was right or wrong.
"Yeahh basically. Wait what? I made Jane upset?" She replied back, confused. She quickly took a glance at Jane and smiled, she returned the smile back with warmth.
"She looks fine to me," she carried on. Evelyn also took a glance at Jane, and also gave her a warm smile.
"Oh, maybe I'm wrong," she said unsure.
"Anywayzz, listen... Carters in my media class!" She whispered happily.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Both girls made their way to lunch. They sat down on a table, one that they always sat on, and started to take their food out. Both of them preferred getting food from home as the food in school was utterly disgusting. They'd give raw meat with uncooked peas.
The mashed potatoes would have strands of hair so due to this most people bought lunch from home. They always wondered how the school had gotten away when the schools verdict comes to check the lunch; always their school had gotten excellent.
"Hey where's James?" Asked Emily.
"Hey!" Yelled a voice. Emily turned around to see James behind her. His blonde messy hair was everywhere in his face. On another person it'd look stupid but on James it didn't.
"Speak of the devil, and the devil comes," Emily said. 'When we were all young there was chemistry between Emily and James. But now growing up it had gone or maybe it was just an act' Evelyn thought suspiciously. He chuckled as he slid a chair from another table and sat next to Evelyn.
"Emily, you look as beautiful as ever," he said charmingly. Emily's face suddenly started to turn pink. Evelyn knowing her best friend, eyed her closely.
"Oh and sweet Evelyn. You've gone even more stunning," he said as he picked her hand up and kissed it softly.
"Hmm, you've gone more charming haven't you?" She laughed.
"Where's your girlfriend James? Left her already? Was she a one of thing?" Asked Emily rudely. 'What's gotten into her?' Evelyn thought.
However James' happy face was before it wasn't anymore. As soon as the word 'girlfriend' was said his face went dull.
"Actually she cheated on me..." He said quietly.
"Oh my God. Sorry to hear that. Don't worry, you'll find someone better than Chelsea." Evelyn said as she hugged him. Emily just sat there and looked.
"Well you probably deserved it. I mean karma must get you after all the girls you cheated on." She said coldly. Evelyn kicked her hard on the shin under the table.
"Owwwwhhhh," she yelled as she eyed her friend.
"Yeah your right, I guess," he admitted. For a minute or so there was awkwardness and unexpectedly the bell rang.
"Well lunch went quick!" Evelyn said as she dragged both James and Emily to their next class.

"Bye hun," yelled Emily as she crossed the road to go home.
"Bye!" Evelyn shouted back as she unlocked the house door with her keys and walked in. She walked into the living room and chucked her bag onto the sofa. Looking around as it seemed quiet she found a note on top of the table.
Gone to work - going to come back late, lots of work.
Derek has football club - 5pm and Jaden is staying at a friend's house. Call me if you need me. Mom x PS: Food in fridge.
She left the note there and ran to the fridge, she was starving. She opened it and inside was slices of yesterday's pizza. She took it out and warmed it in the microwave and took two slices with her upstairs, in her room. She sat down at her desk and turned her laptop on.
While it was starting up she started to look around her room. It was still the same from when she was small. Beside her desk were two pink lamps on either side. Next to the left lamp was her bed and next to her right lamp were rows of cupboards, on the right of her bed were shelves of books and next to that were her dressing table with all her makeup scattered everywhere. She took a quick look at her clock, it was four past ten. Fifty minutes alone for herself. Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a chat box opening. Her laptop automatically signed her into MSN.
HottieEm
Hey wassup?
God I'm so bored. Already on the first day we got stupid media homework. :/
Evelyn scanned through the screen before giving a reply.
EveWhite

HottieEm
Ooo, House yourself. Would have come but my cousins are over. :/

EveWhite

HottieEm

EveWhite

As soon as she sent that the webcam opened. She pressed the button to make it full screen and attached her webcam to. She waved at her and started to help her.

SLAM!
Evelyn ran to the banister to see her brother slam the front door shut. She also took a quick glimpse of the clock. Five past ten. 'Had I been talking to Emily that long?' She thought. She went back to her laptop and said bye to Emily. She closed down the webcam chat to find another chat box opened that said Convo from JadoreJane.
JadoreJane
Hey Eve! U alryt?
-5 minutes later-
JadoreJane
Busy?
-4 minutes later-
Nudge -
Oh maybe ur talking to Emily. Sorry for disturbing yah.
Her thoughts from Textiles flew back into her head again. 'I have to do something about Jane' she thought.
"Evee," yelled her brother from downstairs. 'Come here.'
She quickly shut her laptop and ran downstairs. Her brother was sitting down in his football clothes watching TV. His messy brown hair was everywhere in his face. You could see sweat falling down his face.
"What?" She asked annoyed.
"I'm hungry. Food!" He replied back.
"What the hell? The fridge is there. Open it!" She retorted.
"Oh my dayz man. Don't be sad. Just give me something. I'm starving."
She looked at him for a minute and then finally gave in. She walked over to the tall fridge and took two slices of pizza out and put it into the microwave to warm.
"Mum's gonna come late by the way and Jaden's at a friend's house."
"Cool. It's done," he said pointing at the microwave. She shook her head and walked over to it. She took it out carefully with a cloth trying not to burn herself and handed it over to him.
"Thanks little sis," he said gratefully as he took it. She just smiled at him and watched him eat the two pizzas in a minute.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
10 minutes later
"Okay I'm gone," she said as she ran back upstairs into her room. She quickly checked if she got any homework which was due for tomorrow. No she didn't, so she took her phone out and dialed Emily's number.
Ring! Ring!
Ring! Ring!
"Sorry, but I'm busy at the moment. You have reached my voice mail. Please leave a message after the beep. "
-Beep-
She cut her off. Then without thinking she called Jane. She picked up on the first ring.
"Eve?" Jane asked unsure.
"Hey, Jane! What's up?"
"Oh hey. I'm surprised you called."
"Yeah I had nothing to do so I thought why not?!"
"Emily was probably busy," she mumbled under her breath. Evelyn let that go as she did feel guiltily because she was right.
"Anyway what you doing?" Jane carried on.
"Nah nothing much you?" She replied
Both Jane and Evelyn carried on talking for the rest of the night.
