Have you ever been in this situation? Or is it going to be the case for some of you? If it is the former, perhaps reading what is coming up will make you pleasantly nostalgic. On the other hand if it is the latter, the text to come may help you look like it is totally your day!

How to do Prom Makeup

Eyes Say it All
To begin with eye makeup apply an eye liner to your upper eye lids using a delicate stroke of liquid liner, which will arch at the ends for a different and dramatic effect. A dash of lengthening mascara on the outside edge of the upper lash line for those amazingly curly eye lashes. To follow that a shimmering eye shadow having a slight hint of glitter will add that glamor touch to your prom makeup. Be it for blue eyes or for green eyes, avoid matching the eyeshadow with the color of the dress. See what suits your skin tone and complexion, as the eye shadow should complement your skin tone.

Read my Lips
Well, we have a lot of options when it is about the lips. Applying plenty of lip balm before the d-day. While getting ready for the d-day, ensure that your lipstick lasts. You can do that by bringing your foundation down over your lips first and then outlining with a lip liner. Follow that by coloring the lips with the same liner. Now apply the lipstick, blot once and powder, then again apply and blot. This should ensure that your lipstick stays all night. But carry one in your bag, just in case.

Skinny Issues
Your skin should be as clear as possible before the prom night. If you have an uneven skin tone or have acne, a concealer as well as foundation (of the exact skin tone) will be needed. A make up sponge will help you to thoroughly blend the foundation and ensure that there are no lines between your jaw, neck and chest. Applying a moisturizer before you go about the prom make up will further help the make up to blend well. A skin highlighting product can give you a perfect look - a fresh and dewy look! Add to it, a shade of blush, akin to the shade of your skin color.

Out of Make Up Ideas?
If at all you are out of prom make up ideas for your look on the big day, well, easiest way to solve this problem is to have a make up like a celebrity. Check for their looks on the internet and if you are going to get your make up done in a parlor, take a printout of that look, so that the person there gets an exact idea as to how and what to do.
