Prisoner - Chapter 1
I got an idea, so I wrote it down. I really hope you like it, and if you think of any ideas, please comment!!

"Come on, Catholic, open your presents!" Ed urged, as excited as me. ('Catholic' was his nick-name for me.)
"All right, all right, calm down." I said. Twenty minutes later, I had a laptop, some shoes, a shirt, and iPod, Linken Park, Daybreakers, two chocolate bars, $100 and a new note-book. (I loved writing) I got in the shower, blow-dried my flame-red hair then put them into pigtails. I put on some mascara and eye-liner around my brown eyes. I put a white shirt and black skirt over my slim frame, then put on some black socks and boots. I grabbed my shoulder bag and got my phone. I had two texts. The first one said.
"Hey, happy b-day Cthy, c ya l8a" that one was from Luca, one of my best friends.
The second one said "Hey!!! Happy b-day, C! love ya xxx" My other best friend, Jamie, sent it. (By the way, Jamie's gay) I ran down the stairs, kissed Ed goodbye, then ran to school. (I live 5 minutes away, so what's the point in getting the bus?)
At the school gates, I met Luca. "Happy birthday, Cathy!" He said, handing me a small, square box. I opened, and gasped. The most beautiful bracelet was inside it. It had a small thin chain, with a wolf, a bat, a heart and a skull on it.
"Omg, Luca. I love it!" I said, giving him a huge hug.
"It's okay." He said. I squealed as someone pounced on my back. I swiveled round, and whacked Jamie on the chest.
"You scared me, idiot!" I said, scolding him. Jamie pretended to pout, making me and Luca laugh, then he smiled and gripped me in a bear hug. (Jamie's 6"1, Luca's 5"8 and I'm 5"5)
"So, Jamie. What have you got for Cathy?" Luca stage-whispered.
"Oh, it's gonna be a bit late." Jamie said, running his hand through his blond hair. "Sorry Cathryn."
"Tut tut, Jamie. It's gonna have to be mega-amazing now. No pressure!" I joked.
As we walked to home-room, Lauren, Jodie, Tim and about half the school said happy birthday. (I wasn't Miss Popularity, but I had enough friends to be invited to all the parties) Just before we reached home-room, the new kid, Damien, came up to me.
"Happy birthday, Cathryn." He said. He wasn't really my friend, (hell, we never spoke to each other) but I thanked him just the same. It was strange, now that I think about it; he sounded a lot like the voice in my dream. But that's impossible, right? Damien was tall, (as tall as Jamie) thin and muscular. He had light brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a black undershirt with a navy blue shirt over it and jeans. (Basically, he was hot!) "Um, Cathryn, I need to get by." He said, in a low, smooth voice. I blushed, and walked into home-room. I went and sat with Jamie, Luca, Katie and some other friends.
At lunch, I ran into Damien, again. (COMPLETELY UNINTENTIONAL) I walked away though; I needed to head to the library. (I wasn't a nerd who spent all my time there, but I did have some homework that I needed to do) I grabbed my-self a computer, logged on, and started up the Internet. About five minutes later, guess who logged on to the computer next to me? Damien. Great!
"Hey!" he said. I mumbled a response. "What ya doing?"
"Um, homework." I said. "Anyway, I'm done." I said, as I sent my work to the printer. I stood up, and started to walk away.
"Wait, Cathryn." He said. I turned around to face him, and nearly bumped into him. (God, he was quiet!) "What're you doing tonight?" He asked me. This caught me by surprise.
"Um. Hanging out with my brother, its movie night. Why?" I asked.
"Oh, it's nothing. I was just wondering if you could tutor me. I'm falling behind in French, and my dad said if I fail, he'll ground me forever." Ok, so not what I was expecting.
"Um, yeah, sure." I said, not really processing what was happening.
When I got home, I ran upstairs to tidy my room. I was on my own, 'coz Ed got back from work at five. Damien was coming over a six. It was four thirty. When my room was decent, I had a shower and put on some jeans and a cute top.
"Hey, Catholic" Ed yelled up. "What do you want for dinner?"
"Ed, Damien's coming over at six." I yelled back.
"Who's Damien?" Ed asked, sticking his head round my door.
"No-one. Just some guy I'm helping. He said he needed a tutor in French, so I'm gonna help him. Plus, it's extra credit." I said. "So be nice! I don't even like him." I warned him.
At six o'clock sharp, Damien came over. "Hi, Cathryn." He said. I invited him in, introduced him to ED, then dragged him upstairs. (It's not that I wanted to be alone with him, it's just, I didn't want Ed to make a fool of me.)
"Si Damien, qu'est-ce que vous connaissez déjà?" I asked. (For those who don't know French, that's "So Damien, what do you already know?)
"Well, just the basics." Damien said. I looked at him, flabbergasted. (Yes, I did just say flabbergasted, I love that word.) "What, I've had so many teachers tell me that, it just stuck in my brain."
"Ok." I said. "Let's start with about you. Show me what you know."
"Bonjour, mon nom est Damien. J'ai 16 ans, et je suis anglais. J'habite à Orlando et je vais à Jefferson Académie. J'ai besoin d'aide avec mon français et je pense que mon tuteur est chaude."
"Wow, I'm impressed." I said. "So, you think I'm hot?" He nodded, lent towards me, and kissed me.
