Priscilla Presley, born on 24th May, 1945 is known as the ex-wife of the very talented and attractive singer, Elvis Presley. Born as Priscilla Ann Wagner in Brooklyn, New York, Priscilla had a shock in store for her in her later years. Her mother, Anna Lillian married James Fredrick Wagner but sadly, James passed away in a plane crash when Priscilla was only 6 months old. In the later years, her mother met a United States Air Force officer named Paul Beaulieu. However, Priscilla was not aware of her biological father. Her mother was always unable to explain the truth to her. It was only in 1956 Priscilla stumbled upon the truth. She found old photographs and a telegram addressed to her mother informing her about the death of James Wagner, her biological father. The discovery of this piece of information shocked young Priscilla to a large extent. When she confronted her mother on the telephone, her mother tried her best to explain the situation to her personally. Young Priscilla did go through a confused state of mind during this period.
The beautiful and vivacious girl met Elvis Presley at the tender age of 14. There was an age difference of 10 years between them, and at that time, Elvis was only 24 years of age. The couple grew very fond of each other and married on 1st May. 1967. The two however separated and divorced on 9th October, 1973. Rumors were rife this was because of Elvis Presley’s romantic involvements with other ladies. This lovely lady is the mother of Lisa Marie Presley, who is an American singer-songwriter.
