Preparing for the Winter Heat - Ways to Save Money

The winters the last for years have been extremely cold and it's easy to be caught off guard without having thought out ways to save. First of all, you may have turned off the switch for your furnace or the pilot out may be out. Don't panic if the furnace seems to not be working.
If you use oil to heat your furnace, some companies will offer a special where they will visit and check everything. This can be a savings having them check the air filter,change oil filter and arrange the right flame. Efficiency is important and filters are important to have checked.
