Preparation and Application of Concrete Clear Sealer

A concrete clear sealer is an acrylic solution that dries up to make a colorless and clear film over your concrete floor. You can apply it on any concrete surface - in driveways, garages, pool decks, and walls. It can be used inside the home or building as long as the room is well-ventilated to eliminate the slight smell of the solution.

The concrete clear sealer is resistant to stain, acid, oil, and other chemicals. Other advantages of a concrete clear sealer is that it is ultraviolet resistant as well as abrasion resistant. It is also best if you apply it on a temperature that doesn't exceed 90°F because this will cause premature drying with bubbles forming from trapped vapors.

Use an airless sprayer when applying the concrete clear sealer. You can also use a cure roller or plain brush. But do not use a hand sprayer. One important thing to remember when using a clear sealer it to stay far from open flames and sparks. After using it, make sure you seal the clear sealer tightly.
