King of Prussia, Pa., January 21, 2008 – Julian Krinsky Camps & Programs, an innovator in summer programming, will launch a Pre-College program at Princeton this June. Held exclusively for high school students entering grades 11 and 12, the program will prepare high school students for the demands of collegiate academics.
The Pre-College Program at Princeton is the ideal opportunity for talented students looking for a true taste of college life. They will study alongside exceptional students from across the country and around the world, as they delve into an exhilarating selection of subjects taught by leading professionals, distinguished scholars and campus lecturers.
This academic program has an interdisciplinary approach combining 13 majors and 26 minors. Students can choose courses ranging from The History of the Middle East to the Principles of Marketing with minors that further explore such topics. Through course study, students will determine if these topics stimulate a college major choice or deter them from making a poor selection for their next four years.
While living at Princeton University, students explore the nearby cities of Princeton, Philadelphia and New York through planned trips and activities. Every Wednesday, students will travel to regional destinations while visiting East Coast colleges. On weekends, students visit tri-state area attractions including, Washington, D.C. and Baltimore.
