Prayer to My Heavenly Father

Father, I thank you for loving one like me,
When I disappoint you and make you angry,
Father! It is hard all by myself,
Truly this walk I can’t do alone.

Self is standing in my way,
It is hindering my progress,
Help Father! Help me!
My heart, mind, body and soul is all yours.

I humbly beg of thee, thy forgiveness,
I admit my faults and my failures,
But, I am determined to spend eternity with thee,
Guide me, lead me, keep me, and teach me
Help me! Holy Father through Jesus Christ your son.

When you made the sky, the earth, the heaven,
When you stoop so low,
When they spit on you, hit and beat you,
When they crucified you, I was on your mind,
Father! Jesus! Savior! My truest and dearest Friend,
I love you, but I need your help.

Let self be slain and God have your way,
In my life today and forever more,
Let the Holy spirit remain in my temple,
And keep me holy and pure to honor and glorify you.

Loving Father, Keeper of my soul,
I thank you for finding favor in me today,
Thank you,
