PPC AdWords - Ad Optimization Tips and Strategies
Paid advertising? Well of course, if you have the budget paid advertising is the easiest way to drive traffic to your site. You can join PPC (pay per click) companies and start several campaigns. It's pretty simple, you set up an account just like you would a free e-mail account, pick the keywords you want your site to come up for on the sponsored list of the search results, then you can start to create your ad. When you make your ad you want to make it short, simple and to the point, and last but not least you want to include a call to action i.e. "act now", "see for yourself", "don't waste any time".
Check out who else is you using the keywords you're going to use before you make your ads, just simply type in your keyword in the search engine and look at the sponsored results, that's your competition. check them out and see what approach they're using to get customers to click their ads, then try to be absolutely different. If you search any keyword right now on any search engine you will see that all the ads are practically saying the same exact thing just different wording. There are only 2 to 3 at most that stand out from every other ad, and those are the ads that get the most clicks because they stand out more. If you can, try to include the keywords in each ad 2 to 3 times, and try to bid around $0.15-$0.20. If you have a very popular keyword such as "make money online" or "web hosting" you're going to have to bid a tad higher maybe $0.40-$.80 but it really all depends on your keywords popularity and what company you're using.
The numbers above reflect that of Google AdWords in SIMILARITY that is if you have good ad optimization and your site's landing page is reasonably relevant, otherwise if your ads were terribly optimized and your landing page is not very relevant those bids could easily be $1.00-$10.00 per click. Your site's landing page (URL the ad takes you to) has a lot to do with it as well, you want your landing page to be rich with those keywords you're bidding on.
All of the steps I described to you like short, simple and to the point ads, be different than everyone else so you can stand out, landing page rich with keywords, include keyword 2 to 3 times in your ad, bid a reasonable amount depending on your keywords - all of these will lead to great ad optimization, and you will be able to bid low and dominate the top 3 sponsored listing on any search engine. Do this on every campaign and watch your CTR (click through rate) and sales go through the roof.
