As the old adage goes, a glass half full or half empty, honestly depends on what you make out of it. So, if everything is what you think, then why do sometimes things go wrong? Well, nothing ever goes wrong! You just discover another way, which is not going to work towards solving anything at all. What are Positive Self Affirmations?
Positive self affirmations is to develop a holistic positive mindset towards life. Cornerstones of positive self affirmations positive visualizations about self and positive self motivation. The first step towards positive self affirmations, is building a positive attitude. The trick to develop a positive attitude is to always see the bigger picture. To elaborate the point, let me narrate a story.

Once, there lived a fabulous painter. He could hypnotize creations through his art of painting. His only wish was to be a disciple of a sage who lived in the village. So, one fine day, the painter abnegated everything he owned and went to the sage's school. The painter offered the sage the most precious painting of mountains and said that was all that he could offer to get an admission in the art of living school. At this point the Sage told him that he was disappointed with the painting, as it wasn't good enough. The disheartened painter returned to his shack and made another painting of a river. The next day, he went back to the Sage's school and once again offered him the painting. The Sage denied him the admission again and asked him to come back with another painting. This continued for years on end, till one fine day the painter gave up trying. The sage asked him to follow him to a near by place and showed him, what was the incredible wonder of the world. The painter replied "what's the difference between this and my painting? They are the same mountains, the same river, the same sunset, the same birds. I have been painting them for so many years." Then with a serene smile the sage replied, "you were holding all of it on a small canvas. Look at the bigger canvas, they are all free to move. It's all the same, but just a bigger picture!"

The point of this story is, that once you learn to see the bigger picture, every hurdle in your way to reach there, seems inconsequential. Thus, positive self affirmations means to develop a positive mindset towards every endeavor.
