Lotus Temple

Popularly known as Bahai temple, it is one of the prime attraction in Delhi. As the name suggest, the temple is built in 27 white petals made of marble, that springs out from nine pools. Surprising there is no God or Goddesses idol in its interior complex and instead it symbolizes the nine spiritual path, according to Bahai faith.

Akshardham Temple

Dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan, Akshardham temple spread over an area of 100 acres and is one of the largest shrine in Delhi. It is supported by 234 ornate pillars, 9 domes, 20 quadrangle shikhars, all of which are craved out intricately in floral motifs and big and small plinth of stone elephants. Entertaining activities like fountain sound show, boating and movie depicting the life story of Swaminarayan.

Qutub Minar

Qutub Minar in Delhi was built under the regime of a Muslim ruler, Qutub-ud-din Aibak in 1193. The sky-touching tower is world's tallest brick minaret and is one of the brilliant examples of Indo-Islamic architecture. The hidden path that leads up to the Red Fort, the Iron Pillar and Alai Darwaza are the must see attractions of the minaret.

Red Fort

The beauty of Red Fort or Lal Quila comes into limelight every year in 15th August, when Indians proudly celebrates Independence Day. It is situated in Old Delhi and the entrance gate is popularly known as Lahori Gate. The complex holds some main buildings like Diwan-i-Am, Hamam, Mumtaz Mahal and Moti Masjid, all of which indicates the royal and politics of erstwhile Mughal era.

Jantar Mantar

It is one of the five astronomical observatories, built by Sawai Jai Singh, all across India. The massive red and white sloping stone structures are decorated with palm tress and flowers, which offers an unforgettable glimpse. Some antique collections used for calculating time, solar and lunar calendar, astrological movements provides one to understand the ancient creativity.

India Gate

Constructed in the memory of 90,000 patriots, who had sacrificed their lives during World War 1, India Gate glitters at night. The 42 m high gate glows with Amar Jyoti Jawan, that continues to lit up for 24 hours. It is a great place to hang out for Delhi'ites and tourist visiting Delhi. It is also known as All India War Memorial.
