Poem - For I do Try

Heart to heart,
Smile to smile,
Word to word,

We do try.

Try to make our hearts do beat,
Try to make our smiles to shine,
Try to make our words to speak,

We still try.

Sleep upon your chest I lay,
A kiss upon your lips I press,
Hand in hand we walk,

For I do try.

Working for money to buy a home,
Raising our children to grow up strong,
Sleeping together to keep our love,

You do try.

Try myself,
Try yourself,
But if love still seeks,

Try we shall.
