Plugged into Michelle Caldwell Chap 17
Hey another short one. I think I'm going to do it this short so i can get them out faster. Which means more chapters. Thanks for the comments! You guys had some great ideas that i will surly use later. Thanks for all the help and for reading! This is something I made just so you know what the characters look like. and look at the bottom for more information about them.
Michelle's POV
I study my face. It is beyond weird to see yourself as another person.
"Who are you?" I question circling around myself.
"I'm you're roommate." The person says it like I'm being an idiot.
"Yeah I kind of figured that. I meant who are you really?"
"I'm you." Disguised me says laughing.
"Okay cut the crap" I say standing in front of my roommate. "Transform into your real self."
"If you insist." The person sighs. She morphs back into her own self.
She's very pretty. She stands there smiling at me.
"Sorry about that. My roommate did that to me last year. She was a shape shifter and thought it would be hilarious. I was just trying it out. Anyway I'm Summer."
She holds out her hand but I'm reluctant to take it.
"Oh come on. I won't bite."
I sigh and shake her hand.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Michelle."
"Yeah I know." She says sitting on her bed.
"Is there anyone who doesn't know me?" I say sitting on my bed frustrated.
"Well considering your father announced you in front of half the school. I'm guessing no." She says laughing. "So this is our room obviously. I got a mini fridge. My stuff is labeled. So don't touch that. But you're more than welcome to put food in it. Now the cool thing about these dorms are the secret lounges. On each side of our room you see a door which leads to another dorm. Well if you turn the knob a special way. Then the door leads into a secret lounge. There is one for the girls and one for the guys on each floor. And we are lucky enough to have the secret lounge right next to us."
"Cool." I mean what else is there to say.
"So this is your side of the room." She continues. "I won't go on yours and you won't go on mine. Just don't touch any of my stuff and we'll be fine."
Okay this person is a little anal retentive. Maybe she's just protective of her things.
"Okay...."
"So what's your power?" She asks. I look over and see that my bag is there. My dad must have brought it.
"I can control technology." I say while unpacking.
"Ah a technopath. Well the teacher for that class is really cool. I think you'll enjoy it."
"You've been in that class? I thought you were a shape shifter."
"No I'm a copy cat. I can borrow other people's powers. Well that's the nickname for it. The specific name is Copista, which means copier in Italian. Don't ask me why it's in Italian. Cause i have no idea. I can't have more than one power at one time. That's the only downfall."
"Really, so can you take my power?"
"Yeah if I wanted to."
"Show me." I say cause I'm really interested to see how this works.
"I rather not. your power is kind of lame. Plus it takes me a while to get rid of a power before I can take on another one."
Rude much?
"Oh okay...Well I'm going to go take a shower. So I'll see you at dinner?"
"Yup, Oh and have fun in the showers. They're a sight to see." She says winking.
"Okay..."
How nice can showers be?
I walk through the bathroom to the showers. They are pretty nice, but nothing special.
Someone is already in the shower the other shower. I go into the open one next to it and strip down. I turn the knobs..... nothing.
I sigh and wrap a towel around myself as I wait for the only open shower. The shower stops and the curtain opens to reveal a guy dripping wet with just a towel around his waist. And not just any guy.
But Aiden.
He looks surprised to see me but not as surprised as I am.
"Wh..What are you doing here?" I lean in closer and can smell the soap coming off him. "You do know this is the girls room right." I whisper so I won't embarrass him.
He leans in to so his face is inches away from mine. "You do know that the bathrooms are co-ed right?" He says with a devious smile.
I move backwards a little too quickly and almost slip on the water. Luckily Aiden catches me so I'm pushed up against his half naked body which is still very wet.
" I umm."
"You alright?" He says pushing me back so I'm up right.
"Yeah I seem to be falling for you a lot." I laugh.
He looks at me questionably and I quickly realize what I just said.
"Falling ON!..... I've been falling on you a lot..."
I let out a nervous chuckle. And he smiles.
"You're cute you know that?" He chuckles. "To bad you have a boyfriend."
"How do you know that? Are you a mind reader?" I ask.
"No. Just very observational...... But do you want to see my real power?" He says quietly yet seductively.
"O...okay." I stutter because he's leaning in close to me again.
He moves back slightly and his hands go slowly towards his towel, covering the only part of him that I can't see. He begins to undo the knot he tied with the ends of the towel. All while looking straight into my eyes, which grow bigger and bigger as I brace myself for what I'm about to see.
And right when the towel drops from around his waist, he turns invisible.
All I can see is the towel floating in the air. This is the first time I've been alone with a naked guy. But does it count if I can't see him?
I see the towel move closer. And I try to imagine where his eyes are and I stare at them.
"What are you doing?" I ask folding my arms.
"Do you like what you can't see?" He jokes. I can feel his breath close to my ear, which send shivers down my spine.
"Two can play at this game... " I say as I begin to undo my own towel. I can imagine his eyes getting huge.
"Wh....What are you doing? Are you sure you want to do this?" He asks from where ever he is.
"Oh yeah..but" I stop. "I want to see your face, if I'm going to do this."
I see him wrap the floating towel around his waist and he turns back to his normal self. I step closer, and he swallows hard. I lean up to his ear, as if to whisper something in his ear. And right when I'm about to drop my towel. I turn off the lights with my power, and step backwards. It's pitch black in the bathroom. "Goodbye Aiden." I say. As I hop in the shower and turn it on.
I hear him clear his throat and leave the room.
I laugh to myself as I wash the bad parts of today off. I got to say things are looking up....

Liam: Can duplicate himself (Celeste and Harley have crushes on him. Michelle doesn't)

Harley: Fly (Michelle's closest new friend also Trixie's younger sister.)
