Now I don't need you to take that the wrong
I'll explain to you that I'm here for you,
I really do wanna be your friend,
I'm not just saying that....

Boy, I love you,
But as a friend,
I've kindda got my heart set on someone else,
But you're still an amazing person,
And a great friend,

Soo now I've tried to explain it,
But my words are going right through you,
Or are you just blocking them,
Are the words "It's alright I just wanna be friends" stuck in your head and blocking all the others,

Now its my turn to listen to you,
"I'm nothing without you" you say
With a frowny face at the end,
"Now I know you don't like me, so there's no point to this life"
You keep going "Life doesn't matter anymore"

These words hit me like
I was just punched in the gut,
I Start to feel really bad,
I feel like the meanest person who walked on this earth,
Thoughts run through my head,

Should I act like I like him and just go out with him,
But wouldn't that make me feel worse,
Isn't that really bad,
Acting like I like you just,
Soo you'll consider smiling,
But then you figure out it's a fake,
Wouldn't that be bad

I know I don't like you more than as a friend
But still you're a close friend,
I can't bear to see you sad,
If you would just realize that I still care,

I don't know what to do,
I just want you to smile,
I don't want you to end your life like you said you considered,
If you did, I wouldn't be able to live with myself.
