The Party.

"You look beautiful,"
"Thank you," Jen smiled, taking his hand to lead her to his car.
"So, whose party are we going? Anybody I knew?," he asked while they are on road.
Jen pretty sure Danny didn't know Adam because Adam just moved to the next neighborhood last year and off to college which is far away from their places.
"My friend. This is the address," Jen cringed when she refer Adam as a friend. But the truth is he is her friend, they never been more than that. But Jen always thought Adam like her and taking his time to tell her his feeling.
He made her wait, he made the promises they will soon be together but before the happy time come, he break her heart. It fell into pieces.
"Earth to Jennifer. We arrived already," Danny said. Jen looked around. Yes, this is Adam family house. She sighed. Adam is celebrating his girlfriend birthday in his house. She must be so special to him.
"What's wrong?," Danny asked.
"Nothing," She smiled, trying to hide her feeling. She still wasn't sure if she's ready to face him. But when Tad fingers entangled with hers, she's sure she's ready.
The music is loud and it is clearly a havoc party. We entered the house and many couples are dancing together towards the rhythm of the music.
Danny wrapped his arm protectively around her as the room crowded with people. She felt safe and smiled a bit. She didn't mind Danny arm around her.
Seeing a sweet smile on Jen face made Danny heart soared. He bent his head down, whispered to her," Do you want a drink?,"
"Yes, please. No alcohol please," she nodded.
"I'll be back," he said, kissing her cheeks softly.
Jen smiled softly. Danny kisses made her feel butterfly all over her stomach. The feeling is so much nicer than kissing with Adam.
As Jen waited Danny coming back, she turned around when she felt somebody tap her shoulder.
"Adam...," she's so not ready for this. Not when Danny is not with her. Danny, where are you?
"Hi, Jen. I'm glad...You could make it," Adam said, smiling at her. His hands were wrapped around his girlfriend.
She is quite pretty. She dressed like those popular girl in high school, with a tight top, a very short skirt. No wonder Adam choose her, she thought.
"So this is Jen. Hi, Jen. I'm Molly. Thanks for coming tonight. It's very brave of you to face Adam of what happened. I just want to say no hurt feeling okay...world nowadays is very competitive," she said very proudly. As if she was giving a speech after winning a beauty pageant.
Her speech made Jen furious. Jen turned to Adam, silently asking him to at least defend her from his snobby rude girlfriend. But all he did was smiling proudly as if he really did believe his girlfriend is a beauty pageant.
"So you alone?," Molly asked.
Before Jen answer, she said," Baby, there's my friend. Let's go meet them. Jen, have fun here, lots of available guy here. Hope you could find one," she winked and they left.
Jen watched them in fury. Where is Danny exactly? She cursed Danny for not being where he should be. She asked Danny come here with her to make Adam believe that she is moving on.
But now, she just got humiliated and Danny is not here to help her. Somehow she felt angry more to Danny other than Molly and Adam.
Jen waited patiently, scanning the room. She saw Adam and Molly in the corner of the room with the bunch of their friends, girls and guys. Molly is laughing and whispering with her girlfriends while they staring at somebody beside them. Obviously a guy.
One of Molly friends made a move to the guy while the other kept watching. She adjusted her hair a bit and pulled down her tops to show the cleavage. Jen stared in admiration, so this how they get a guy, she thought.
The girl tapped the guy shoulder who's trying to get a drink out from the fridge. He turned around and the girl gave a sweet smile.
Jen gave a frown when she realized that guy is actually Danny. She got enough of this. Her anger took control of her body. She still can see the sarcastic smile on Molly lips, the proud expression on Adam face and the over girly laugh from the girls.
She marched towards them and when she nears them, she slow down and change her walk mode. Suddenly her walk was swift and catwalk looks alike.
"Hey baby...what takes you so long?," Jen said sweetly, wrapping her arm around his waist. Danny responded by wrapping his arm back around Jen tiny waist. It felt tight and secure.
"Here's your drink. It took me forever to find a non alcohol drink in this house," he said.
"Aww..you so sweet. Thank you," Jen replied, kissing his cheek, making sure the girl and her friends watched them.
Danny smiled happily. He tightened his grip on Jen waist. He liked it when Jen kiss him.
"Who's this?," Jen asked, glancing at the girl in front of him.
"Oh...this is Rachael. I just met her. Rachael this is Jen, my...,"
"His girlfriend. Nice to meet you," Jen said before Danny finish introduce them. She can see Danny smiled at her.
Rachael face changed a bit, more to embarrass expression. She looked Jen up and down with disgust in her eyes.
"Aren't you Molly friend? Nice. I am Adam's friend," Jen continued with a friendly smile which she tries to fake.
"Umm..Yeah..They are over there," she pointed out.
She doesn't have to turn to know the Molly and her friends were staring at them. One of them watched them in awe, jaw dropped.
She can understand why. They probably thinking how would a hot guy like Danny will fall for her, how waste to have a hot like him falling for a girl like him and blah...blah...blah..
"Baby, let's go meet my friend, the host of the party," Jen pulled Danny hands to the group.
"Ok, sweetie,"
"Oh, I think you find a good catch here," Molly said, her eyes full of disgust.
"Oh, Molly. This is my boyfriend, Danny Hamilton. Danny, this Molly and her boyfriend Adam,"Jen introduced, hugging Tad close to her.
"Hi guys. Nice party you have here," Danny greeted shortly.
Jen can see the disappointment in the girl's eyes when she mentioned Danny as her boyfriend but she couldn't care less. All she knew is she was enjoying this.
"I don't know that you already have a boyfriend," Adam said, staring at Jen.
"Well, it doesn't take me long time to move on,"
Jen winked at him. By the time they finished introducing, the music changed into a techno ones. Jen turned to Danny and asked,'" Let's dance,"
"Sure, baby,"
They moved to the center of the room and start dancing. Jen put her arms around Danny's neck and started to grind her body. They moved and danced to the rhythm of the music.
People started to clap when they both dance erotically and Jen was very surprised to know Danny is actually a good dancer. They thumped and shook their body which caused everybody to cheer for them. After the music stopped, they both stood there breathless. People gathered around them and clapped their hands. They cheered and whistled to them.
Jen laughed and curtsied to them. She glanced at Adam and Molly which obviously didn't like what happening.
"Kiss! Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!" The crowd requested them to kiss.
Jen bit her lips and looked at Danny to find him stared at her. His gaze was so intense and Jen can't breathe.
Oh my god, she thought. She didn't expect things will become like this. Kissing Danny in front of the crowd, she knew she will regret this. She already felt guilty of using Danny to show off in front of Adam but now kissing Danny? She will regret this but strangely she didn't care about it now.
"Kiss!Kiss! Kiss!,"
Glancing to Adam and Molly, she tipped up her face and closed her eyes when Danny arms wrapped around her tiny waist.
Kiss me, she silently wished.
