Fivers, tenners, and hundreds,
Were those days.

Melts notes like plastic.
Converts currency in to spastic.
Notes become disabled.
Loses its hold to plastic.
Cards are swiped;
Accounts are wiped.

Loses its own count.

These go on spending spree.
Plastic money gives an illusion,
To all those in possession,
Pay by card,
Is not at all hard.
Just a sign.
And you can resign.
Cash consumption is zero.
This illusion makes card a hero.
This hero is actually a villain.
Drains the coffers,
With crazy offers.
Hard-earned money,
Is usurped by this card, so phony.
Out of this fantasized illusion.
Begins the actual tension.
This tension,
Gives birth to a resolution.
Keep the card in safe custody or surrender.
The best way to escape from plunder.
Or
Let the card be under lock and key.
Unlock only in emergency.
