With a gross capacity of 315 liters and an A class Energy Efficiency rating, this appliances is both attractive and functional, although at around £1,000 it may be a little expensive for some. If you want consistency in your kitchen, Smeg does an almost full range of pink kitchen appliances.
You can get a washing machine and a dishwasher under then FAB brand, both in the same pink as the fridge/freezer. However, as yet Smeg does not offer pink cooking appliances. For this, you will need to look elsewhere. Baumatic used to offer a stylised retro range cooker in pink. This model was discontinued, but Britannia has picked up the baton and is now offering personalized cookers in its Colourange. Britannia claims it will match any colour you like and will supply a cooker in that color.
So if you have the pink fridge, freezer and dishwasher from Smeg, but need the cooker to complete the collection, Britannia is the company to go to. This service is available on many of Britannia’s cookers, from the Sigma range to the AG cooker hoods, so if you are desperate for a customized kitchen, all you need to do is send them a color sample. Of course, a kitchen is not all about the big appliances. A company called Dualit offers a number of products that will complete your collection of pink kitchen appliances.
The best example is the Vario toaster, which comes in a bright shade of pink and can toast four slices at a time. Dualit also offers a great two slice marmite-themed toaster, which is definitely not pink but definitely is very stylish. Finally, Hinari offers a compact pink microwave to truly complete your collection. Coming in at around £90, this appliance has a 700W power output, a 17 litre interior capacity and even comes with a child proof lock.
