*~*Picture Of Us*~*

Too late....wish we could go back...(please read and comment.)
In this picture your eyes looked so bright
But I took a closer look tonight
They are distant and sad
The emptiest shade of blue
And then it hit me
How much I truly hurt you
I should've listened
When you warned me about him
But now that it’s too late
I realize where I should've been
I should have been with you
When you needed me the most
To help you through it all
Instead I left you on your own
I'll never forgive myself
For the decision that I’ve made
It should be me instead of you
Lying in that grave
Because now that you're gone
I just can't seem to let go
And with each passing day
I miss you even more
