Petroleum jelly is a flammable mixture and pure petroleum jelly is colorless. If, it is not distilled well, then it is pale yellow in color. The jelly has healing properties, hence it is used for curing minor injuries. It can be used for skin protection, because of which, many people use it as a cosmetic. Uses of Petroleum Jelly
  • Petroleum jelly is extremely good for damaged areas on wooden furniture. Apply petroleum jelly to the damaged parts. Allow the petroleum jelly to be on the damaged parts for at least 12 hours. After 12 hours, remove the excess jelly present on the damaged area with a soft cloth or a paper towel.
