Perceptions Unknown
What I wrote down before bed tonight.
You spin me around on that merry-go-round and I pass out...
I run to the swings
Float across feelings
And soar toward the sky
The sunlight presses
The heat, in order progresses;
And cotton of your shirt sucks to my skin
When did this begin?
When will it end?
Did I offend,
The dreamers within?
Should I prepare
Cling, capture, or ensnare.
In this moment, of bliss;
All I can feel is despair
We climb the structure
I feel like summer
We release the bars from under our grasp
Run to your home
Perceptions unknown
Tramping throughout wet grass
We step past the garden
Chug juice straight from the carton
And ready our eyes for sleep
And then I wake up, on the ground, I feel as if days have gone by. Where was I? How did I get here? Can I please - just go back?...
