- Secondly, you can add 2-3 drops of peppermint oil in hot water and inhale the steam. You should boil the water in a bowl, add 2-3 drops of peppermint oil in it, lean over the hot water pot, cover your head with a towel and then inhale the steam. This method helps in treating headache caused due to sinus problems. Only adults are recommended to use this method.
