Pennsylvania is considered one of the most preferred tourist destinations in the USA, and offers many tourist attractions which include zoos, parks, museums, amusement and water parks. If one is planning for a vacation to Pennsylvania, there are quite a few places and attractions that are surely not to be missed.

Betsy Ross House
This is the place where Betty Ross, who made the first American flag, lived. It is situated in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, near the 'Independence Hall' and the 'Liberty Bell'. It is a Georgian-style building that is believed to be built in 1740. It consists of seven rooms that include a kitchen, bedrooms, parlor, and the only 18th century upholstery shop in the nation. Visitors are allowed to view the 18th century antiques placed in the rooms, which belonged to Betsy Ross and her family.

Penn Museum of Archeology and Anthropology
The Penn Museum is located in University City, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and is well-known for its human evolution explorations for over 120 years. It is a home to over a million artifacts which were discovered by anthropological research or in university field excavations. The museum extends across three floors and displays ancient artifacts from Egypt, Mesopotamia, Mexico and Central America, Bible lands, and Asian civilizations. It even features things which were utilized by Native Americans, Africans, and Polynesians. Various exhibitions, lectures, educational seminars are also conducted through the museum.

Philadelphia Zoo
It was the first zoo in the USA, and is located in Philadelphia on the banks of the Schuylkill river. It is one of the most prominent zoos in the world, that breed animals which are very difficult to breed when in captivity. The zoo is spread over an area of 42 acres and has over 1,300 animals, out of which many are endangered species. Carnegie Museums
This is a museum with many sub-museums, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It consists of 'The Andy Warhol Museum', the biggest museum in the world that is devoted to a single artist, which was opened on May 15, 1994. It includes more than 4,000 Andy Warhol's art works like photographs, drawings, sculptures, etc. The 'Carnegie Museum of Natural History' is a museum that has one of the finest dinosaur collections in the world, and it even consists of Samson's skull. This natural history museum also includes the Hillman Hall of Minerals and Gems, Wyckoff Hall of Arctic Life, Walton Hall of Ancient Egypt, and the Benedum Hall of Geology. The 'Carnegie Science Center' is a museum that was started in 1991, and is one of the the most famous places in Pittsburgh which homes the 'Buhl Digital Dome' with the latest projection technology, Rangos Omnimax Theater, and USS Requin, a submarine used in the World War II.

It is an arena totally filled with loads of entertainment features such as go karting, mini golf, games hall, billiard room, and virtual reality capsule thrill ride. Its indoor area is around 70,000 sq ft and outdoor area is spread out to over 15 acres. It is definitely a good option for families, corporate parties, school picnics and many more similar activities. It sports an indoor arena in which soccer, basketball, volleyball and hockey can be played.
