Peaceful Destruction
About what the world in the beginning was like to where we are now.
Once upon a time in a land that was far and wide,
Lived a peaceful place that did not know what it was like to die.
But a plague came along one day and took away their lives,
And it did not care if they husbands, sons, or wives.
Than came the war,
And all that was left of these broken families were torn.
Blood ran down the streets,
With this it carried the trait of deceit.
Soon came the throbbing pain,
Of starvation, murder, rape and personal gain.
Next was the hatred of people's race, gender and skin,
And it flowed way past them into their generations of kin.
This world of peace was turned into a world of sin,
Leaving the people continuing the problems that has already been.
There is no stop, there is no end.
Because there is no one left for a hand to lend.
