Peace in My Community

Lord send me peace in my community
For they know not
What they are long to see.

Many people don't know
Who they want to be
Just remember to set a good example.

For me peace in my community
Is like giving peace to the world.

What I see is what I'll never be
What I hear will not always be heard.

What I touch will disappear
Like it was never there.

What I smell is always here and there.
What I have is what's close to me.

The world is starting to come to an end,
But will peace in my community ever began?
