Decorate the place with balloons, streamers, confetti, etc. Party food can include a variety of snacks, finger foods, or small meals. Clear a room and put all sleeping bags together, make it a movie night, dance night, or have lots party games. If you plan to make it a dinner night, be done with it early and keep it light, else make sure the kids have lot of healthy non-fried snacks. A warm glass of hot chocolate milk will add the yum factor to the slumber party.

Beach Party Themes for Kids

A beach party is one of the cool party themes for kids, that will sure be the talk of the town for a long time. Before organizing a beach party, check out availability, security and safety aspects. Most sea-side resorts do give out complete information of their facilities. This could also take care of all the decorations and food preparation. Send out colorful party invitations, an indication of the colorful times ahead. Mention a beach dress code, it could anywhere from colorful clothes, to swimwear to flip flops. Food should be light and must reach all as the kids would be involved in different activities. Light snacks like chips, burgers, pizza, popcorn, ice-creams, fruit salad, and fruit punch should be available in plenty. There are many beach games to involve children in, such as volley ball, building sandcastles, or a Hawaiian dance competition. Make sure the kids do not enter the water, it would get difficult to handle many children at the same time.
