I'm a really good person. I'm down to earth. I have a big heart. I have feelings. And I'm just like everybody else.
----Paris Hilton

I few days ago I opened the latest 'Skymag" to find a picture of Paris Hilton with a baby in her arms. They looked so cute together that it inspired me to create an article about this heiress.

Paris Hilton’s Background

Paris Hilton was born to Richard and Kathy Hilton in New York City on February 17, 1981. She has three other siblings, a sister named Nicky and two brothers named Barron and Conrad. Paris Hilton’s paternal grandparents are hotel chairman Barron Hilton and his wife, the former Marilyn Hawley.

In her youth, Paris Hilton moved several exclusive homes, including a suite in the "Waldorf-Astoria hotel" in Manhattan, Beverly Hills and the Hamptons. The schools she attended included the "Marywood-Palm Valley School" in Rancho Mirage, California and the "Dwight School" in New York followed by a few months at the "Canterbury School" in New Milford, Connecticut. This was when Paris decided to drop out and eventually earned a GED.

Paris Hilton’s Personal Life

Jason Shaw, a fashion model and Paris were engaged from mid-2002 to early-2003 after which she was with the Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis. This relationship lasted from May 2005 to November 2005. Things moved on and she soon found herself dating another Greek shipping heir, named Stavros Niarchos. This lasted till May 2006. Recently she is said to be dating Benji Madden, the guitarist of the band, Good Charlotte.

It was in January 2007 when Paris’s life created headlines with the launch of a website called "ParisExposed.com." This website featured images of personal documents, videos and other private material which was allegedly obtained when the contents of a storage locker rented by Paris was auctioned off due to lack of payment. It was on February 3, 2007 that Paris obtained a temporary injunction against the website closing it down for a short period of time. Unfortunately, it went back online very soon.

Paris Hilton loves small dogs and owns a Yorkshire terrier and a female Chihuahua, that she has named "Tinkerbell." Tinkerbell and Paris are inseparable and can be seen with together at social events and functions.

This young lady has also appeared in various advertising campaigns such as, "GUESS," "Tommy Hilfiger" and "Christian Dior."

Paris has also done a few roles as a supporting actress in feature films like "Raising Helen," "The House of Wax," "Nine Lives" and "The Hillz." It was Paris's role in the "House of Wax" that got her the Teen Choice Award. Now her plans for the future include many more roles in movies.

It was in the autumn of 2004 that Paris released her autobiographical book called, "Confessions of an Heiress: A Tongue-in-Chic Behind the Pose." Soon this book became a bestseller and Paris followed it up with a designer diary, called "Your Heiress Diary: Confess It All to Me."

Paris Hilton and the Law

It was in September 2006 that Paris was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. This episode led to her driving license being suspended and 36 months’ probation with a fine of about $1, 500. It was again on January 15, 2007 that Paris was pulled over for driving with a suspended license. It was then that she had to sign a document acknowledging that she was not permitted to drive. A little more than a month later she was again caught driving at 70 mph in a 35 mph zone and again with a suspended license.
