Paris Hilton Wins Worst Actress Amidst Three Razzies

Paris Hilton, terrible actress extraordinaire, proved her worth (or lack thereof) with three "worst of" awards at the Razzies this past Saturday.
Paris Hilton, of hanging out in clubs and getting photographed fame, seems to be intent on making inroads into legitimate business opportunities. The problem is, she just doesn’t have any talent in any particular area. On Saturday, the "celebutante" racked up three Razzies, the awards given out as "worst of" nods to those who do a particularly awful job on the big screen. The awards are a spoof of the Academy Awards and are handed out the night before the Oscar ceremony.

While Mike Myers was an unusual entrant into the Razzies awards this year, winning three Razzies for his involvement with the worst film of his career, "The Love Guru," Hilton is seemingly the "actress" that the award was created for. On Saturday, she won worst actress for "The Hottie and the Nottie," worst supporting actress for "Repo! The Genetic Opera" and worst screen couple for "The Hottie and the Nottie."

The night wasn’t ALL about Hilton though - even though, clearly, this is where she shines. "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" was named worst prequel, remake, rip-off or sequel (deservedly so) and worst director went to Uwe Boll for three of his films, including "In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale, "1968: Tunnel Rats" and "Postal." Getting back to Hilton though, John Wilson, who founded the Razzies said of the "star" – "She is the 21st century Zsa Zsa Gabor. She is famous for who she hangs out with. She’s not famous for any talent she has yet exhibited. She may end up working with Uwe Boll. She could be the head vampire in "Bloodrayne 3."
