Paris Hilton & Nicole Richie Friends Again

After nearly 18-months of feuding Hilton and Richie formed a united front and hit the town over the weekend. The toothy twosome enjoyed a meal at Dan Tana’s Steakhouse in West Hollywood. Photogs just happened to be on hand to document their friendly outing. The two rolled up together in Hilton’s Range Rover and enjoyed an hour and a half meal before exiting the eatery. The two then sat on a bench text-messaging while waiting for their car to be brought around. Before driving off it was reported they announced, "We are back!" The two reportedly headed back to Hilton’s for a sleepover to catch up on the events of the last year and a half no doubt!

As far was why the two originally stopped being friends it has never been revealed. There has been much speculation as to what caused a rift between the two childhood friends. One popular rumor was that Richie played a tape of Hilton’s sex tape in front of family and friends who had reportedly gotten together to watch a screening of Hilton hosting Saturday Night Live. Another rumor was that Richie started to become as famous as Hilton and was sick of playing her sidekick on The Simple Life.

In April, Hilton publicly acknowledged the rift and said, "It’s no big secret that Nicole and I are no longer friends. I will not go into the details of what happened. All I will say is that Nicole knows what she did, and that’s all I’m ever going to say about it." Apparently the two were so mad at one another that they refused to film this past season of The Simple Life together and instead had to shoot their segments for the show separately. Luckily for us all the feud is over and they are back to being best friends forever again (excuse the sarcasm…)!
