Paris Hilton’s Jail Memoirs?

Hilton is reportedly keeping a diary during her jail sentence to be published when she is released. Hilton is set to report to the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood on Monday June 4. She reportedly has a hair and make-up team set to arrive at her home on Monday at 9 a.m. A source said, "The timing is to make sure she makes all the celebrity weeklies. Paris is a genius at marketing herself. She managed to turn having a sex tape to her benefit, and she’s going to do the same out of going to prison." The source also said, "It’s not just about marketing, it’s about making money. If she can set up her entry into jail in a very grand way, the payoff will be greater."

Hilton is set to serve a 23-day jail sentence stemming from a September arrest for DUI. She plead guilty to lesser charges of alcohol related reckless driving and was placed on probation for 36 months. In February, she was pulled over for speeding and driving with her lights off. She was found to be driving on a suspended license and was cited her for the misdemeanor violation. She was found guilty of a probation violation and handed her sentence, which was originally a 45-day sentence.

As for her prison diary a source close to her said, "Paris’ prison diary will make a more dramatic read than Martha Stewart’s. If she can make it believable, and not exaggerate too much, she might expect to make a million dollars out of it." Hilton is reportedly staying a "special needs housing unit" away from the general inmate population. She has also reportedly been assigned a cellmate that the prison believes will not be interested in "cashing in" on Hilton’s celebrity. Apparently it has also been reported that the prison staff has been warned that they will be fired if any pictures of the heiress are leaked to the press. Not that she would mind…
