Paper Folding Crafts
Paper Folding crafts are interesting, but they take a lot of time as well. They need a lot of concentration and sometimes it can get really mathematical. Folding Paper Flowers
- Keep 3 to 6 sheets of tissue paper or paper napkin at your disposal. If you can use tissues of different color, then it will be an icing on the cake. Nevertheless, a single color napkin will serve the purpose. So after compiling the tissues, lay them on top of each other, to make a stack.
- After you are done with this, mark 6-by-6 inch square on the topmost tissue paper. Making sure that the markings are proper, cut the squares of tissue paper.
- Now stacking the cut squares of tissue paper and then fold an edge an edge towards the inner side, the fold not being more than an inch.
- Fold the stack inward at the same corner, but flip the stack now.
- After you are down with folding on the inward sides, hold the stack in the compressed, folded accordion. Follow this up by folding the stack in half. This will provide the base for the flower.
- Get the hold of the paper at the base and then using a floral wire, wrap around the base. It should be around half an inch up considering the bottom of the base.
- Wrap the wire till the bottom of the paper all through.
- Wrapping the pipe cleaner around the base, cover the remaining part of the tissue paper. Now uncover the shape of the flower by pulling out the layers of the paper. Now, this is like a Pandora's box. Keep on pulling out the layers, till you do not get the perfect shape you want.
