Painted Crystal Kisses

She is in deep thought.
The spokes of the fan circle endlessly, half-heartedly
The dust in the air isn't stirred.
Her slow long tantalizing sighs are bouquets of mist on the window.
When she closes her eyelashes
that sweep across her once-tinted cheeks,
slow crystal drops of tears roll down.
Out of love, she gave up
and now her man is gone.
The pearly teardrops tumbling down her cheeks,
upon hitting her frozen lips,
transform to a gruesome gash surrendering blood.
Every dead heartbeat is counted and treasured.
Every dying breath is numerable.
When she sees him, down there somewhere,
her eyes let down another volley of tears
Her hair disintegrates to a scented mist
and her moans slowly fade away.
