Painful Memories

These are my most painful memories.
Painful Memories
Screaming and yelling fill my head,
I remember the pain in my past
And it hurts to remember
The alcohol filling the air,
Smoke and violence all around me;
Trying to escape my locked mind.
Shielding me from future pain,
Is a wall made of my bitterness
My sorrow
My anger
And my pain.
Painful memories hide behind them,
And leave my heart longing
For the long to erase my
Painful memories.
