Painful Destiny - Part 2: The Bite

King Orofeo's P.O.V

"Volien..." I whispered then the baby stopped from crying. I looked at the baby and I saw a pair of big round brown eyes looking at the amulet and trying to reach it from me. I put it down at her little hands and when the baby touched the amulet it burst in a dazzling shine causing my eyes will be shut.

When the light is over I slowly opened my eyes again. I looked at the baby who I carried a while ago but when I looked at my arms I did not see a baby.. I did not know if I threw the baby when the light shone and my eyes got shut. I looked around to find the baby then when I turn at my back I saw the baby.

I was so shocked when I see the baby... the baby is now wearing a white dress and white shoes.. sitting on the grass still holding the gold star and moon amulet with a small sapphire stone at the side..

Is that the baby I carried awhile ago? I asked my self and I was more surprised when the baby stood up and slowly walked towards me. I was frozen at my feet, and I couldn't move, then I noticed that the baby had now a beautiful curly hair falling down at her shoulder. The baby stopped 3 step towards me, looking up you looked at my face, then smiled at me. I bent down on my knees to face at her clearly. I smiled also at her I don't know why but I felt comfortable at her smile. She smiled widely and I was shocked again when I heard her spoke at me and said....

Daddy! Her little voice make my cold heart warm and she run at me and hugged me tight... I don't know why but I hug her also and I was more surprised at my self when I say..

Daddy is here baby.. What's happening to me. This baby is not my daughter.. but I felt so happy when I hugged her, she hugged me too.

I came back to my palace, carrying the sleeping baby in my arms. I don't know what happened but when I whispered the word volien that wrote at the back of the amulet and started to shone so bright, the baby grow so fast and now she's like a 2 year old baby wearing a pure white dress and a pair of white shoes, and with a long curly hair..

I walked in my room and I saw my Queen sitting at the bed waiting for me to come back home. She is facing at the window so she did not see me carrying the baby..
"...where have you been my King?" ..she asked me, then slowly turning back to face me, she gasped when she saw me carrying a baby in my arms.. her face is full of shock and question..

I told her the full story where I came from and where the baby came from. She looked at me and gave me a smile that she is believing me..

Can she be our daughter my king? My queen asked me while she is still looking at the sleeping baby..

If you liked her then she is.. I said and she nodded her head and her smile move more wide..
So for now on she is our princess.. I told her looking at the baby too.
What name will we give her? ..suddenly she asked when she remember that the baby didn't had yet name then I smiled and told her....
Volien... her name is Volien my Queen..
My Queen only nodded her head and said that she loved that name too..

In the next morning I left my queen and Violin at our room still sleeping, to go at my thrown and looked for my men if everything's ok in my palace then I remember Feliex my eldest son.. I called my one slave and ordered him to go find my son Feliex, cause I had something important to tell him.. the slave nodded and bowed his head before he leaved.. I looked at the window near in my thrown. I walked towards the window and staring at the beautiful forest, I closed my eyes and seemed the fresh air that was touching my skin.. and again I went back to my fast.......

Feliex's P.O.V

I'm in my room when I hear a knock on my door when I opened it, I saw our slave standing in front of my door and when he saw me he bowed his head..

Yes... I said. My prince your King wants to talk to you right now, and said that it's urgent and it's important.

He said while still his head bowing at me. I only nodded my head and said ok. When the slave turned back and walk away, I closed the door behind me.. I decided to take a quirked shower before I talked to my King.

After I got shower and got dressed I remember my mother Queen, I have something to tell her, before I went to talk to my father...

I walked out my room and walked at the long hallway towards my parents room.. I stopped and knocked at their door.. but it didn't open. I thought my mother is still sleeping so I knocked the door again.. but again nothing.. I decided to call her but still nothing.. then I lost my patience and I opened the door...

When the door cracked open I smell a different smell of blood.. it smelled so sweet and so fresh, I walked inside the room smelling the sweet and fresh blood that make me crazy. I feel my throat so dry and I knew that I need that blood to release my thirst.. I roll my eyes all over the room and saw a baby lie on the bed sleeping and I heard water from a shower.. I ignored the noise of the shower and walked towards the bed where the baby lying and peacefully sleeping. The smell of the baby's blood was much more intoxicating me and I felt my fangs enlarged.. I didn't think twice and I grabbed the baby and sucked my fangs at her neck....

I hear the baby crying but I ignore it, I want to lose the thirst that this baby brought me.. I almost drained her blood when I heard my mother screamed.. I release my fangs at the baby's neck and looked at my mother.. I saw her running towards me, and when she got near me she slapped me really hard at my face..

I touched my face where my mother slapped me and I realized what I did. I looked at the baby now unconscious lying at the bed. Again dripping some blood at her neck.. I looked at my mother and I saw a her angered face.. I quickly stood up and bowed my head to my mother and I said my apology.. she did not say a word and she quickly sat down and carried the baby at her arms.. I looked at her face and she had a tears in her eyes, I don't know what I was doing, I just wanted to lose my thirst and all I know is sucked my fangs at the baby's neck... I looked at the baby who now had a paler skin than us, then my mother looked at me again and said.

Feliex! Do something! Don't let her die! She yelled at me and I was shocked, who is this baby? Is she important? Why she's here?

I don't know what to do and I remember that I am a doctor, and my blood can heal a human being but is this baby a human? I had a lot of questions in my mind when I heard again my mother shouted my name!

"Feliex!"
I shook my head and I looked at my mother once again, I don't have a choice but to help the unknowing baby... I bit my right arms and my blood started to flaw. I put it in the baby's mouth and let her drink my blood.. after a minute the baby's back to her natural pale skin and now breathing. My mother asked me what I did. I only answer is "I turn her as a vampire."
