Owen Wilson Romancing Jessica Simpson?

Wilson and Simpson were spotted having dinner on October 28 at the Huntley Hotel in Santa Monica. A source said that Wilson and Simpson arrived separately, but talked for more than an hour before reportedly heading back to Wilson’s home in Malibu. A source said that the two engaged in some "serious flirting" and said, "He couldn’t keep his hands off her." Wilson and Simpson reportedly met October 16 in Austin when they were both appearing in a video with Willie Nelson. A source said that the two hit it off.

Just a few days before Simpson and Wilson were spotted having dinner together it was reported that she was dating Dax Shepard. The two met on the set of 2006’s Employee of the Month. A source said, "Dax and Jessica met when they were filming together and really liked each other, but nothing ever happened. They kept in touch, and as soon as they both became single, there’s been some serious flirting going on." Ironically, Shepard recently split from Wilson’s old flame Kate Hudson.

Wilson, who reportedly tried to commit suicide in August, and Hudson met while filming the hit movie You, Me and Dupree. She was married to Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson at the time, but rumors of an affair with Wilson brought an end to their marriage. She and Wilson dated for a few months, but it was rumored their split due to his addictions to alcohol and cocaine. It was also rumored that his devastation over his split from Hudson contributed to his depression.
