You can also have a sledge and a reindeer. Don't forget to give Rudolph a red nose. You can also make cardboard elves, pixies and many other outdoor Christmas decorations. If you have a driveway, don't forget to decorate it. You can do this by hanging some affordable lanterns along the driveway or you can even have a team of elves lined up on the driveway. Red and green are the colors of Christmas, stick to them but there is no harm in venturing outside the coloring lines. There is plenty one can do to the door like adding cuttings of Christmas trees and presents, using ribbons and stockings and flowers. If you are really creative, you can make a collage of pictures of your previous Christmas and decorate the door with it.
One of the cheap idea for Christmas decoration for the yard is a ginger bread house. You can also have a mini fairy tale land in your yard. So decorate corners of your yard according to your favorite stories. You can have Alice in wonderland on one side and the seven dwarfs on the other end. Young children are sure to enjoy this Christmas theme. The aim is to draw attention to the best parts of the yard, so let the creative juices flow freely.
