It is almost Thanksgiving time! Another biggie after Halloween, here comes another eagerly awaited holiday all over the USA. Ol' Crow
Yes, if you did not know it already, one of the options for Thanksgiving decorations outdoor is the good old scarecrow. Most of the time it is made with a stuffed pillow case, which makes for the head and jagged, rugged and old overalls. Attach a 'T' shaped structure to the pillowcase and overalls and push the whole thing in the ground. Or simply lean the scarecrow near the front door. Hailing the Hay
Straw bales are great to use for outdoor decorations for Thanksgiving. As this decoration is going to be outdoor, line the walkway with a few bales of straw. Embellish further with the dry, fallen leaves which have got amazing colors, thanks to nature. Add a pumpkin here and there and for further effect, set a Turkey pumpkin on top.

This idea involves corn stalks and is termed as Fodder shock. This can be a great family activity, from getting the corn stalks post harvest, to making the making fodder shock. The fun can begin with visiting a nearby corn farm first! The whole family can make fodder shock. For making fodder shock all you have to do is to just gather the corn stalks, tie them at the center of the bundle, using a strong rope or lace. See if you can make out a teepee shaped form as Thanksgiving crafts. Once you are done with this, place the fodder shock anywhere you want to in your yard and have some squash, pumpkins and gourd to go with it. If you keep the wreath just like that, without the trinkets, it can stay there as it is, irrespective of the season and festivity.

Wreathing On
Outdoor Thanksgiving decorations cannot be replete without wreaths. Autumn leaves' wreaths are the most common and conventional wreaths for Thanksgiving. To jazz the wreath, using pinecones, ornaments and berries is a great idea. This immediately gives a fresh and festive touch to the wreath. Try these I say!
